Staying true to its commitment to innovation, and as part of its expansion strategy, Zed Black launched the Cian series and Zed Black Oriya range of incense sticks at the ‘Puri Distributors Retreat’ event. Organized in the holy city of Puri, Odisha on July 24th, 2022, the event was graced by Ollywood Superstar Varsha Priyadarshini, Anshul Agrawal, Director, Mysore Deep Perfumery House and Anand Oberoi, Chairman & Managing Director, Oberoi IBC.
The newly launched Deep Oriya Series includes four new variants- Deep Mogra, Deep Chandan, Deep Gulab and Zed Black 3in1 Gold, which will be exclusively available in Odisha. While launched in five enchanting fragrances: Ivory, Marine, Marigold, Rose &Lavender, the Cian Incense Sticks will be available nationwide. Following the launch, distributors from across the state, for whom the event was especially organised, celebrated Zed Black's accomplishments and spent a memorable time together.
A press conference was also held to commemorate the special occasion wherein Varsha Priyadarshini shared her experience with Zed Black and stated, “I am pleased to be associated with MDPH for the last 8 years, and have seen the brand popularity grow leaps and bounds in Odisha." The Ollywood Superstar has been associated with MDPH for years and the Arij campaign 'Har Saans Mein Odisha' with her has won the hearts of the people of Odisha since its inception.
Zed Black entered the Odisha market a decade ago and since then, the state has contributed significantly to the brand with its love for Zed Black 3in1, Manthan, Pineapple & Arij. Following the great response and to expand its network in Odisha, Zed Black has opened a new manufacturing facility in Jagatpur, Cuttack, which now employs over 100 women and is expected to create more jobs in the coming years with expansion.
