Zed Black, the flagship brand of Mysore Deep Perfumery House exhibited its wide range of products at one of Asia's largest Open Trade Fairs- Bali Yatra, Cuttack. Held from 8th to 16th November 2022, Bali Yatra is a 9-day long fair that celebrates the ancient trade relations between India and Indonesia. This annual fair which brings together art, culture, businesses and technology, is organized by the government of Cuttack and the Cuttack Municipal Corporation.
The fair is usually held over a 35-acre area, but after the pandemic disruption, this year it expanded to 85 acres, had more than 1500 stalls & was estimated to see business worth more than Rs 100 crore over its nine days. A large number of people from Cuttack and the surrounding districts attended the fair for shopping and entertainment. MDPH with its popular brands like Zed Black, Manthan and Orva marked its presence at the fair and is delighted to have exhibited its wide range of products at the grand-level trade & commerce fair in Cuttack, Odisha.
Having entered the Odisha market ten years ago and with its Arij campaign 'Har Saans Mein Odisha,' Zed Black became a hit with the citizens. Odisha's love for Zed Black 3in1, Manthan, Pineapple & Arij has contributed significantly to the brand's popularity. And this has grown into Zed Black's new manufacturing unit in Jagatpur, Cuttack, which currently employs over 100 women and is projected to create more jobs with expansion.
At present, MDPH employs over 3500 workers, out of which 80% are women, in its 5 manufacturing units spread over an area of 10 lac square feet, owns 36 depots across India, has a network of 3500 authorised distributors, exports to 41 countries and is connecting with people through A-list celebrities MS Dhoni, Hrithik Roshan and popular cartoon character Doraemon as brand ambassadors for its brands Zed Black, Manthan and DinDin. With its wide product spectrum and quality, the group is growing, expanding, and reaching new heights every day.
